World Volkswagen Day celebrations tomorrow at NCC

The Volkswagen Beetle Owners’ Club will hold its World Volkswagen Day celebrations on Sunday, 28 June, at the Nondescripts Cricket Club, Colombo 7.

This year’s event will not feature a parade in keeping with the restrictions on fuel usage, but it will include the usual fanfare experienced at all previous club events, ensuring a day of fun for members, followed by a fellowship lunch and the awards ceremony, including the annual award presented to a personality who has brought fame to Volkswagen in Sri Lanka, VW Beetle Owners’ Club President Peter Jasinghe said.
