The seven-match SLC T20 League reaches its climax when unbeaten SLC Greens led by Kamindu Mendis meets SLC Greys skippered by national white ball Captain Charith Asalanka in the final at the SSC grounds commencing 1.30 p.m.
The tournament was largely held to give the national selectors the opportunity to plug a few gaps in the Sri Lanka T20I side, especially the batting before they sit down to pick the squad to Zimbabwe.
Sri Lanka face Zimbabwe in 3 T20Is at Harare commencing next month after they complete a 3-match ODI series starting 29 August also at Harare.
In this 3-team tournament SLC Blues failed to make it to the final losing all four league matches they played. Entrance to the public is free.
