The rejuvenated, Singer Sri Lanka “A”, last year’s runners up will have to come up with exceptional performance if they hope to beat the unbeaten, Expolanka Holdings, in the Final of the first Link Natural Products – “Musclegard / Crampgard” sponsored – MCA Premier League 50-over White Ball /Coloured Clothing Tournament 2025, on Saturday 30 August at the MCA Grounds, commencing 09:45 a.m.
Expolanka Holdings (league No. 1) finished unbeaten in the league stage with wins against DFCC Bank by 4 wickets, Nawaloka Hospitals by 152 runs and Singer Sri Lanka “A” by 10 runs. In the Qualifier 1, they beat league No. 2, DFCC Bank by 84 runs and went straight to the Final.
Singer Sri Lanka “A” finished at the bottom of the league points table without a single win, losing to Nawaloka Hospitals by 1 wicket, DFCC Bank by 5 wickets and Expolanka Holdings by 10 runs, but they came back strongly in the play offs, beating Nawaloka Hospitals (league No. 3) by 99 runs in the eliminator and beat DFCC Bank by 50 runs in the Qualifier 2 and entered the Final.
The MCA appointed Match Referee at the Final is N. Deverajan.
