Trinity continue winning streak in football

Trinity College continued their dominance over Royal College in football when they beat the Reid Avenue outfit 2/0 at their Rugby Stadium in Pallekelle recently.

This encounter was played for the J.R. Jayewardene Trophy. Uvan Withanage and Shan Althaf scored the goals for Trinity.

In the other junior games Trinity beat Royal 1/0 (Under-16), while the Under-18 game ended in a nil all draw. Royal won the under 14 encounter 2/0. Best Players award for Under-16 was Gesandu Rajapakshe (Trinity), Under-18, Amher Faizal (Trinity), Under-20 Uvan Vithanage (Trinity) and Best Goal keeper Under-20 Jasim Rizvi (Trinity)
