Trinity College emerged as Cup Champions at the 20th ESU Blue and Gold Hockey Sevens in 2025, inter-school hockey tournament which took place at the Royal College ground at Reid Avenue. Trinity secured the title for the very first time since 2007.

Trinity beat Matara Thomians 5/0, Prince of Wales nil all, Matale Zahira 3/0, Kingswood 2/0, Joes 1/1 in the semis and went in to penalty shootout Trinity win 3/2.

In the final Trinity beat Matale Thomians 1/0, to win the Cup segment. In the girls event HFC Wennappuwa beat Presidents College Rajagiriya 1/0 in the final.
