Thurstan College won the 40th All Island Schools Games 2026, Rugby Sevens, when they beat Lumbini College at the Trinity Rugby Stadium in Pallekele recently.
The match ended in a draw, 12 apiece, and went into extra time. After extra time, too, there was no difference in the scores. Going into a penalty kick-out, Thurstan won 1-0.
Champions: Thurstan
1st Runners-up: Lumbini
2nd Runners-up: St. Sylvester’s
