Thurstan College edged out Science College by 33/29 in the last Inter-School Rugby Under-19 encounter for the year 2025 which concluded at the Sugathadasa Stadium yesterday. At the short breather Thurstan led 23/19.
Referee was Charani Liyanage. Thurstan ended 3rd in the Bowl segment by collecting 21 points while Science ended on 4th place having 19 points. Both Vidyartha and Dharmaraja who ended in the last 2 positions will be demoted in the 2026 season.
Prince of Wales and Lumbini will be playing in top division next year.
