Professional golfer N. Thangaraja produced a superb final round of 64 to win the Sri Lanka Open Championship 2026 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club with an impressive aggregate of 266.

After carding rounds of 68, 68, and 66 in the first three rounds, Thangaraja finished strongly to register a convincing eight-stroke victory and once again underline his class on the local circuit.

Reshan Algama ended runner-up on 274 with steady rounds of 68, 68, 70, and 68, while experienced golfer Anura Rohana secured third place on 278 after returning scores of 70, 69, 71, and 68.

Haroon Aslam and Mithun Perera shared fourth place on 279. Mithun, who led after the opening day with a brilliant 66, lost ground after a final round 74. (SJ)
