The squad features seven players with New Zealand women’s national team experience in Kayley Knight, Jess Watkin, Bella Armstrong, Fran Jonas, Hannah Rowe, Kate Anderson and Bella James.

New Zealand Cricket’s head of women’s high performance Liz Green said: “Sri Lanka’s going to be a really exciting tour for this group of talented athletes. Many of this group haven’t experienced subcontinent conditions yet so they’re set for a good challenge with plenty of learning opportunities.”
