SriLankan Airlines scores slam dunk at 33rd Annual MSBA League Tournament

SriLankan Airlines’ basketball team scored a slam dunk at the 33rd Annual MSBA League Tournament, clinching victory in a thrilling final against DFCC Bank with a score of 60–52. The win is a testament to the team’s talent, dedication and sportsmanship, with players representing divisions across the airline. First Officer Rayan Jayaratna was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. The team also included Sanjaya Wanasekara from Flight Operations; Don Ramanayake, Luke Perera, Shalin Casiechetty, and Shavitha De Silva from Engineering; and Aaron Gomes, Andre Jayakody, Buddhi Chathushanka, Dihan Wijesinghe, Gene De Zilva, and Maleesha Tilakaratne from Inflight Services. Team Manager Tilak Tillakaratne provided leadership and support, while coaches Hiran Wijesuriya and Isuru Perera guided the team with strategy and commitment that proved pivotal to this championship win.
