Sri Lions Netball Championship Tournament this weekend

Sri Lions from UAE, fresh from its rugby success in getting promoted to A Division will embark on their second sports in Sri Lanka when they organise the Netball tournament, which will take place on 23 and 24 March at the St. Joseph’s Indoor Stadium at Darley Road.

Founded by Dr. Kelum Sujith the former Lumbini rugby player, Sri Lions is operating under the legal framework of the United Arab Emirates. With a core focus on sports, social welfare, and community service, Sri Lions stands as a beacon of unity and excellence.

Sri Lions Sri Lanka Rugby Team were crowned champions of the Sri Lankan B Divisional Rugby Tournament in their inaugural year, which is an outstanding achievement. Sri Lions’ dedication extends beyond rugby, with the organisation making significant strides in netball, earning accolades as Asia’s premier netball team. Notably, Sri Lions has been instrumental in elevating Sri Lanka’s netball by establishing an international league, providing a platform for local talent to shine.

Sri Lions Netball League taking Sri Lanka’s netball to unprecedented heights. Sri Lions continues to pave the way for excellence in Sri Lankan sports. Furthermore, the Sri Lions Netball team exceeded expectations by coming out as the Champions of the EVA Open Netball.
