Sri Lanka play Australia in Women’s Under-19 tri-nation opener

The England and Australia Under-19 Women’s teams will arrive in the country during the weekend (Sunday) to take part in a tri-nation tournament, states a Sri Lanka Cricket media release.

The tri-nation series involving both T20 and 50-over games will commence on 28 March at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium Hambantota with Sri Lanka playing Australia.

The contest will start with the T20 series, with each team playing four games, before the competition moves to the Galle Cricket Stadium for the 50-over segment.

The matches will be day games, and the public will be given free entrance to witness them.
