Sri Lanka Boys and Girls lost to India in their Kabaddi encounters, which concluded at the Asian Youth Games 2025 in Bahrain yesterday.
Boys were thrashed by India 89/16 while in the Girls encounter Indians got the better of Sri Lankan Girls 73/10.
Sri Lanka was to feature in Beach Volleyball encounters against Kazakhstan and China in the Girls segment while in the Boys segment they were to meet hosts Bahrain.
This third edition of the Asian Youth Games 2025 saw Sri Lanka sending a record number of athletes with 56 boys and 44 girls totalling up to 100 which is the highest representation so far in the three events. (SJ)
