Sri Lanka took a 2-0 lead in the five-match Under-19 women’s T20I series when they beat Australia by 29 runs in the second match, played at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
Sri Lanka defended their total of 138-9, but successfully contained Australia to 109-9.
Rashmi Nethranjali (24 and 1/9) was adjudged the Player of the Match.
The third match of the series will be played on 24 September at the same venue.
