Shai Hope and Justin Greaves led the fight back with centuries

At the time this edition went to print, West Indies had reached 479/9 in their first innings on Day Four of the second Test against Sri Lanka in Antigua.

The hosts still trailed Sri Lanka's first-innings total of 549/9 declared by 70 runs, with Justin Greaves unbeaten on 162.

West Indies resumed the day with Shai Hope on 86 not out and Greaves on 85 not out, and the pair extended their fifth-wicket stand before Hope was stumped by Kusal Mendis off Prabath Jayasuriya for 112.

Greaves continued to anchor the innings, but Sri Lanka made breakthroughs at the other end. After dismissing Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph, the visitors struck again when Jomel Warrican was dismissed for a duck, leaving West Indies nine wickets down.

Asitha Fernando was the pick of the Sri Lankan attack with 5/116. Milan Rathnayake claimed 1/71, while Prabath Jayasuriya took two wickets as Sri Lanka sought to preserve a first-innings lead heading into the closing stages of the innings.
