Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Tournament 2024 Day 3: Chalitha in supreme form in the lead

Chalitha Pushpika showed his master class in the green at Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on day 3 with an impressive one-under-par total score of 215. Pushpika’s supreme class performance extended his lead to a commanding nine-shot advantage, positioning him as the firm favorite golfer for the championship title.

Today will be the final day (day 4) of the tournament. 

Pushpika’s commanding kept him the 16 year old, Reshan Algama holding onto his second position for the 2nd day in tandem with a total score of 224. Algama, although yet to reach his top in this tournament he displayed top class concentration and determination, maintaining his position within striking range for the top spot in the final day today. 

Priya Hemantha, who is taking part from Victoria Golf Resort (VGR) ended on number 3 position. He secured the third position with a total score of 225. Hemantha’s consistent performance throughout the championship sets the stage for an exciting final day showdown for the top positions. 

Uchitha Ranasighe, another outstanding player advance from seventh place to fourth place. Ranasighe’s remarkable climb up the leader board adds another layer of excitement to the final day’s proceedings.

Yannik Kumara, who had a grand day 2 maintained his 5th position with a total score of 228.
