Sixth-placed Sri Lanka to receive $ 840,000

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will be richer by $ 840,000 after their national cricket team finished sixth in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle 2023-25.

The final of the WTC will be contested between Australia and South Africa at Lord’s from 11-15 June, with the winner standing to receive $ 3.6 million and the runner-up $ 2.16 million. India, who finished third, will receive $ 1.44 million and fourth placed New Zealand $ 1.2 million.

Fifth-placed England will get $ 960,000. Bangladesh (7th –

$ 720,000), West Indies (8th – $ 600,000), and Pakistan (9th – $ 480,000) are the other countries who will receive prize money from the WTC.
