Lanka IOC PLC has stepped forward as the title sponsor of the Women’s Tri-Nation One Day International (ODI) Series featuring Sri Lanka, India, and South Africa.
The tournament, held at the prestigious R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium from 27 April to 11 May, is powered by Lanka IOC’s flagship brand, Servo Lubricants — a name synonymous with performance, endurance, and passion for excellence.
The official launch press conference was held at the R. Premadasa Stadium and was graced by notable dignitaries including Lanka IOC Managing Director Dipak Das; Sri Lanka Cricket Head of Marketing Upul Nawaratne Bandara; and the three national team captains — Chamari Atapattu (Sri Lanka), Harmanpreet Kaur (India), and Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa).
In his remarks, Dipak Das emphasised Lanka IOC’s deep-rooted commitment to the growth of cricket in Sri Lanka: “At Lanka IOC, we are deeply honoured to sponsor this prestigious event through our flagship brand, Servo Lubricants. Our presence here is not just as a corporate sponsor, but as a passionate partner in the elevation of Sri Lankan cricket — a sport that unites, inspires, and energises the soul of this nation.”
Lanka IOC’s association with Sri Lankan cricket dates back to 2015, when Servo sponsored the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team for three consecutive years. The brand’s visibility has grown steadily through key partnerships and tournament sponsorships — from the 2017 India Tour of Sri Lanka to the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, and subsequent series with South Africa, England, and Australia. Through this partnership, Lanka IOC continues its dual mission: powering engines and fueling the nation’s sporting spirit.
The involvement has gone beyond sponsorship. In 2015 and 2018, cricketing legends Muttiah Muralidaran and Ajantha Mendis served as brand ambassadors for Servo, embodying the core values of innovation, resilience, and performance that both cricket and Servo represent. This latest sponsorship is particularly significant as it champions the advancement of women’s cricket.
“Women’s cricket is rapidly gaining momentum, and we are thrilled to be part of this transformative journey,” Das added. “May this tournament inspire a new generation of cricketers, break boundaries, and set new standards of excellence.”
Sri Lanka Cricket Head of Marketing Upul Nawaratne Bandara, in his address said, “We warmly welcome the teams from India and South Africa. Sri Lanka Cricket is incredibly proud to host this tournament, which we believe will significantly benefit the women’s game in the region. I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Lanka IOC for their continued support across both the men’s and women’s formats. Their partnership and commitment to the development of cricket are deeply appreciated.”
