Senuja Vehan Halwathura, the skipper of Mahinda College Under-15 (Division 1) cricket team, continued his impressive form by scoring his third consecutive half-century in the tournament. He smashed a solid 64 runs off 98 balls, including 10 boundaries, in the first innings against St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa. The match was held on 17 July at the St. Sebastian’s Ground.

His second fifty came in the previous match against St. Aloysius College, Galle, where he played a captain’s knock of 86 runs off 105 balls, featuring 11 fours and a six. That game took place on 8 July at the Mahinda College Ground, Galle.

Senuja kicked off his remarkable run of form with a blistering innings of 55 runs off just 40 balls, including 4 sixes and 6 fours, against Revatha College, Balapitiya. That group stage encounter was played on 27 June at the Manawila Upananda Ground.
