Sanjaya takes over as President at Rugby Referees Society

Former Isipathana College and Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club player Sanjaya Fernando was elected as the new President of the Sri Lanka Society of Rugby Football Referees (SLSRFR) at their Annual General Meeting held yesterday at the Aryana Reach Hotel in Maharagama.

He succeeded Dinka Peiris, who served twice as President.

The following have been elected as office bearers and Committee Members for the ensuing year 2026/2027:

President: Sanjaya Fernando

Vice Presidents: Priyantha Gunaratne and Priya Suranga

Hony. Secretary: Thilana Ratnayake

Treasurer: Amila Rajakaruna

Past Committee Members: Pradeep Fernando and Preethi Kumara Fernando

Committee Members: Romario De Silva, Rukshani Ariyasena, Denzil Darling, and Nuwan Lahiru
