Sampath Bank powers Battle of the Maroons as official banking partner

Sampath Bank continues to drive sporting excellence in Sri Lanka as the official banking partner for the 95th Battle of the Maroons, set to take place from 28 February to 2 March at the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) Grounds in Colombo. At a cheque handover ceremony held recently at Sampath Bank’s Head Office, Sampath Bank Managing Director Ayodhya Iddawela Perera (fifth from left), presented the official cheque to the Battle of the Maroons Joint Committee representative and former Sri Lankan Cricket Team Captain Mahela Jayawardena. Senior officials from Sampath Bank were also present, reaffirming the bank’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of cricketers and supporting one of the most anticipated encounters in Sri Lanka’s school cricket calendar.
