SLC plans to launch Lanka Women’s T20 League in October

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is planning to launch a Lanka Women’s League T20 cricket league in October and are in search of a suitable sports/marketing agency to join hands with them.

The proposed structure of the tournament is four teams, each featuring a squad of 16 players together with a staff of 10 personnel including two overseas coaches.

Each of the four teams are allowed a maximum of six international cricketers from full member and associate member countries of the ICC.

The tournament will be held at either Dambulla or Pallekele.

SLC has called for expressions of interests from interested candidates to be sent to them by 7 September. (ST)
