SLC Major L/O cricket starts today; 26 teams in contention

The Major SLC Limited-Over (50-over) cricket tournament commences today with a card of 12 matches down for decision.

A total of 26 clubs are participating in four groups with the top two teams from each group going through to the knockout round.

The groupings:

Group ‘A’: Air Force SC, Army SC, CCC, Bloomfield, Badureliya CC, BRC, Kandy Customs CC

Group ‘B’: Panadura SC, Chilaw Marians CC, Ragama CC, Lankan CC, Galle CC, Navy SC

Group ‘C’: NCC, Tamil Union, Negombo CC, Ace Capital CC, Kalutara TC, Nugegoda S&WC

Group ‘D’: SSC, Saracens SC, Colts, Moors SC, Kurunegala YCC, Police SC, Sebastianites
