SL 7s off to France

The Sri Lanka Sevens outfit left for the prestigious Howard Hinton Sevens Tournament in France, as the national sevens team continues its preparations for upcoming international assignments, including the Asian Games in Japan and the Asian Sevens Series.

The side will be captained by experienced campaigner Srinath Sooriyabandara, while Janidu Dilshan has been named Vice Captain. The squad includes experienced players Kavindu Perera, Akash Madushanka, and Kavindu de Costa. The tournament is expected to provide the Sri Lankan outfit with valuable exposure against top European club and invitational teams. 

The France tour is expected to help the Sri Lankan players gain crucial overseas experience while building combinations ahead of future Asian rugby sevens tournaments.
