The S. Thomas’ Prep Youth Rugby Carnival 2026 concluded with competitive rugby across all age categories, producing Cup and Plate champions in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 divisions.

In the Under-16 Cup competition, St. Peter’s College edged out S. Thomas’ Preparatory School 10-5 in the final. St. Peter’s also secured the Under-14 and Under-10 Cup titles, while St. Joseph’s College emerged champions in the Under-12 Cup segment.

n Plate: Thurstan beat Sri Sumangala, Panadura 24-0

Under-12

n Cup: St. Joseph’s beat St. Peter’s 21-0

n Plate: S. Thomas’ Prep beat Royal Panadura 7-5

Under-14

n Cup: St. Peter’s beat St. Joseph’s 19-0

n Plate: Sumangala beat AGOAL 21-7

Under-16

n Cup: St. Peter’s beat S. Thomas’ Prep 10-5

n Plate: Nalanda beat Thurstan 36-0
