Reshan to tee off in Thailand

Sri Lanka’s young 17-year-old golfer, Reshan Algama, has qualified to participate in the Thai Junior Championship which will tee off today (5 Sept.) till 7 September in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The Thai Junior Championship carries has a history of over 50 years, having been established as a platform for Asia’s most talented youth golfers to compete at an international standard.

Earlier this year, he secured his first-ever overseas victory, a performance that announced his arrival on the Asian junior golf stage. Since then, he has followed up with a top-five finish at the Nepal Amateur Championship and top-ten finishes in two leading tournaments in Indonesia, further consolidating him as one of the top junior golfers in the country.
