Reshan shines at Rajawella

Reshan Algama – 17 year old young golfer stamped his class on the opening day of the Sri Lanka Golf National Ranking Tournament, shooting a brilliant 2-under-par 71 at the picturesque Victoria Golf Resort in Rajawella.

Trailing him by two strokes are experienced campaigners Chanaka Perera and Vijitha Bandara, both carding steady rounds of 1-over-par 73, to share second place at the close of Day 1.

Haroon Aslam ended on number 4 with a score of 75.
