National Ranking Golf Tournament organised by Sri Lanka Golf ended its day 3 with Reshan Algama firmly holding onto his lead, carding an impressive 215 to aggregate to stay ahead after day 3 at Rajawella yesterday.

Haroon Aslam produced a determined performance, bouncing back to secure second place with a total of 220, just five strokes adrift of Reshan. His steady approach on the back nine kept him within striking distance.

Kumar Danushan, who was in strong form earlier, slipped to third with an aggregate score of 222 but remains in contention if he can find his rhythm today.

Vijitha Bandara and Priya Hemantha rounded off the top five with scores of 225 and 226 respectively, showing the depth of talent in the field. Both players will look to make a final push to climb the leaderboard. In the junior division, Kiyan Niyarepola carded on top at 80 to maintain his steady progress, while in the girls’ segment Sithara Lawrence posted a score of 96 to lead. Juniors will play round 2 today.

The main events final day (day 4) will be today.
