Sri Lanka’s golf star, Reshan Algama once again displayed his top-class form and talent on the international stage, finishing in tied 11th place at the prestigious Thailand Junior Championship 2025 AJGA International Pathway Series which concluded recently.

The tournament brought together 70 elite junior golfers from Asia, Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom, making this a true test of ability at the highest level.

Reshan’s campaign began on a difficult note with a first-round 77, leaving him with much ground to recover. But in his usual fashion he bounced back with a brilliant 69 on Day 2 (three-under-par), climbing up the leaderboard and putting himself among the contenders. His final round, however, was a true measure of character.

At the top of the leaderboard, Kanav Chauhan of India claimed victory with a superb total of -6, while Itchaphat Bunditmahakul of Thailand secured second place at -5. Both are among the region’s most highly ranked juniors.
