Ransilu leads Sri Lanka Power Lifting outfit

Ransilu Jayathilake will lead the Sri Lanka Power Lifting team at the Asian Power Lifting Contest which will take place in Kerala, India (4 to 9 December)

Ransilu holds the Asian Record for the Dead Lift of 315 KG in his weight class of 120 KG. The other two competitors are Indika Paranagama competing in the 105 KG weight class and Danushka Kodikara competing in the 93 KG weight event. 

These three competitors will compete in the open category while Athula Wijewickrema – 105 KG weight class and Hiran Fernando – 93 KG weight class will compete in the Masters Weight category. (SJ)
