In a tournament that attracted over 240 golfers, De Silva etched his name into club history by becoming the first sitting President to secure the Overall Nett crown a remarkable milestone in one of the most competitive editions in recent years. A former RCGC Captain, he combined leadership with elite shot-making to rise above a quality field.

Across two demanding rounds, consistency and precision defined the champion’s campaign. Navin returned superb scores of 65 and 73 for a two-day aggregate of 138 nett, setting the benchmark from the outset and maintaining control under mounting pressure.

His opening round of 65 proved decisive. Built on accurate driving and assured putting, it positioned him at the summit of the leaderboard and provided the cushion required to manage the second day with calculated composure.

Dehan de Silva emerged runner-up with a commendable 140 nett. Displaying steady course management and disciplined execution, he remained within striking distance throughout, highlighting his competitive temperament.
