RCGC Club Championship: Top players through to Semis

The 101st Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) Club Championship reached its semi-final stage in the Gents segment at their club course.

All the leading players Nirekh, Amrith, Sachin and Rusi booked their berth for the top 4 end.

Nirekh Tejwani 2/1; Amrith De Soysa 3/2; Sachin De Silva 1 up and Rusi Captain 3/2.

Suhayb Shangani beat one of the consistent performers 14-year-old Reshan Algama in the pre-quarter-final encounter. Meanwhile Tejwani beat Viran while ever green Sachin de Silva was in prime form beating Ranil Peiris. Amrith de Soysa too was in sparkling form beating Mahinda to reach the top 8.
