Prima Junior Golf postponed

The Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2025 which was scheduled to take place from 21 to 23 December 2025 at the historic Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, one of the oldest and most scenic golf courses in the country and sponsored by Prima Ceylon Ltd., was postponed due to heavy rain and floods in the Hill Country.

The new date will be notified in due course.

The championship will be divided into four age-based categories to ensure fair competition. The Gold division is open to players aged 15 to 18+ (up to 19 years). The Silver division includes ages 13 to 14+ (up to 15 years), while the Bronze division is for ages 11 to 12+ (up to 13 years). The youngest participants compete in the Copper division, reserved for golfers 10 years old and below.
