Police downs Air Force

Police Sports Club produced some superb running rugby to beat Air Force Sports Club by 36/12 points at the Air Force Ground in Ratmalana yesterday.

At the short breather Police led 19/12. Police scored six tries and three conversions while Air Force replied with 2 tries and one conversion.

Police tries were scored by Yohan Peiris (2), Danushka Edirisuriya, Deshan Fernando, Vihanga Pavithura and Fijian, Kaliova Mocetadra with Yohan Peiris converting three of them. Meanwhile for Air Force their tries were scored by Pramod Pathmasanka and Manodya Bandara with Kaveesha Kaluarachchi adding a conversion.

With this huge statement Police have shown they won’t be a pushover at the next week Plate final at the same venue with Air Force.
