Pasindu to lead Sri Lanka ‘A’ in 4-day game v Afghanistan ‘A’

Middle-order batsman Pasindu Sooriyabandara will lead Sri Lanka ‘A’ in the four-day unofficial test against Afghanistan ‘A’ at Abu Dhabi from 29 April to 2 May.

Five white ball players from the Sri Lanka ‘A’ squad currently participating in the Explore Afghanistan Tri-Nation Series in Abu Dhabi – Sahan Arachchige, Mohamed Shiraz, Lasith Croospulle, Chamindu Wickramasinghe and Dushan Hemantha will return to Sri Lanka making way for four red ball players – Ravindu Rasantha, Dilum Sudeera, Isitha Wijesundara and Asanka Manoj who have been named in the 16-man squad for the four-day unofficial test.
