In a thrilling encounter at the Race Course Ground, Navy SC edged Sri Lions SC 41/38, giving the Sailors their very first win this season.

Sri Lions SC displayed impressive determination, with tries from Nizram Mahomed, Prasad Madusanka, Dilshan Madushanka, and Pranith Silva energising their attacking play during intense phases. Chandimal contributed significantly by successfully converting four kicks, ensuring Sri Lions SC maintained a competitive scoreline despite relentless opposition pressure throughout every challenging minute.
The Navy SC attacking power showed brightly, with tries scored by Dimuth Perera, Hashan Madumadawa twice, Saviru Nimsika, Apoorva Wijesinghe, and Chirantha Kaluarachchi in succession.
