The Navy Women’s 7s Rugby Team emerged victorious at the Defence Services Games – 2025, securing the championship title. The tournament, which brought together elite ruggerites from across the armed forces, was held on 09 and 30 April.

The Navy Women’s Rugby Team stormed into the second encounter edging out their Air Force counterparts 24 – 05 in the first game in Panagoda and made a comprehensive win over the Army 12 – 05 in Rathmalana to secure the championship.
