Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Tournament saw pro golfer, Nadaraja Thangaraja taking the lead after Day 2 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club yesterday.

Thangaraja emerged as the leader on Day 2 with some extra ordinary performance with scores of 68 and 65 on Day 1 and Day 2, respectively, totalling 133, the best in the tournament.

Lalith Kumara, another pro golfer secured second place with two steady rounds of 70, resulting in a total of 140, showing admirable consistency and composure. He too is a pro golfer.

Kumar Danushan followed closely in third, with a 67 and 74, combining for 141, demonstrating after a strong start on Day 1, the youngster dropped down from the top position to Number 3.

Chanaka Perera and Uchitha Ranasinghe tied for fourth place with 144 each while M. Prabagaran also joined the tie for fourth with his solid scores of 74 and 70 totalling 144.

Reshan Algama claimed seventh position, achieving a total of 145 after scoring 73 and 72. Binupa Wijesinghe and Adithya Weerasinghe tied in eighth place, both finishing with 146 in total.

Jevahn Sathasivam rounded out the top ten with a commendable total of 147, including a strong Day 2 comeback. He started off with a 5 shot deficit but ended well in top 10.

Jacob Norton, Sachin de Silva and Haroon Aslam too made the cut for Day 3 today as the top 15 were taken in for the last two days of golf.
