Peter Jasinghe
The Nondescripts Cricket Club (NCC) elected Peter Jasinghe as its Honorary President at the club’s 137th Annual General Meeting held on 26 March 2026.
Neomal Perera was elected Honorary General Secretary, while a new team of office-bearers was appointed to lead the club during the forthcoming term.
Jasinghe brings extensive experience in club administration, having previously served as Honorary Swimming Secretary, Honorary General Secretary and Honorary Vice President. He succeeds Suwan Perera and is expected to build on the progress achieved during the previous administration.
The newly-elected leadership has pledged to enhance member engagement through improved facilities and a wider range of social and recreational activities. While NCC remains one of Sri Lanka’s premier cricket clubs, the new administration aims to cater to the broader interests of its membership.
The club’s Vice Presidents for the new term are Lalith Ganlath, Marlon Fernandopulle and Nilesh De Silva. Neomal Perera will serve as Honorary General Secretary, supported by Assistant General Secretary Riyad Riffai. Nilantha Weerasinghe was elected Treasurer, while Upul Thennakoon will serve as Assistant Treasurer.
Members of the Executive Committee are Rajiv Meewakkala, Krishan Senaratna, Rohan Ratnayake, Anuruddha Hikkaduwage, Thilina K. Siriwardena, Rajkumar Kuvadas, Pinsiri Fernando, Farveez Maharoof, Ruwan Kalpage, Upul Tharanga, Julian Bolling and Praveen Madawala.
Immediate Past Presidents Suwan Perera, Marlon Ranasinghe and Lucky Fernandez will continue to support the club’s activities and development initiatives.
