Moors SC win and occupy second place

Moors SC moved to second place in Group B behind table leaders Army SC with a 53-run win over Kurunegala YCC under the Duckworth/Lewis method in a Major Limited Over cricket match played at FTZ grounds, Katunayake yesterday.

Two other matches down for decision – CCC v Kandy Customs CC at CCC and Saracen SC v Ace Capital CC at Dombagoda – were abandoned without a ball bowled because of bad weather.
