MeadowLea has secured the rights to be the official team sponsor of the Sri Lanka national women’s team for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
The company will partner with the Sri Lanka women’s team during the tournament, which will be played in India and Sri Lanka from 30 September to 2 November.
“MeadowLea’s entry to empower our team during the upcoming tournament also gives them the ideal platform to promote its brand to its desired audience,” said Sri Lanka Cricket Head of Marketing Upul Nawaratne Bandara, commenting on the partnership.
Sri Lanka is set to play seven matches during the first round of the tournament, offering MeadowLea strong visibility on the global stage.
“Cricket remains one of the island nation’s most popular sports, and MeadowLea champions two unshakeable pillars: female empowerment and national pride. Backing the development of women’s cricket enables us to empower young female athletes and support them in taking their groundbreaking talent to the world,” said Pyramid Wilmar Ltd. Consultant Sales and Marketing Hiranth Fernando.
MeadowLea aims to be more than a sponsor, positioning itself as a partner in building tomorrow’s success stories and in spreading ‘Moments of Goodness’ across Sri Lanka.
