Meadow Lea, a product of Goodman Fielder Australia, which is now being manufactured locally by Pyramid Wilmar Ltd., has stepped forward to support the Royal College cricket teams for the year 2018. Accordingly, Meadow Lea will be the Associate Sponsor of the Royal College First XI and the Exclusive Sponsor of the Under-17, Under-15 and Under-13 teams.

Made with the goodness of sunflower oil, Meadow Lea is a buttery fat spread that offers a delicious creamy taste and is enriched with essential nutrients such as Vitamin A, D and E. The product, which is locally-manufactured, helps cater to local consumers’ nutritional needs at an affordable price. These nutrients support better eyesight, help absorb calcium and phosphorus from food while also helping to maintain a healthy immune system in children.

Pyramid Wilmar, the company behind Sri Lanka’s number one edible oil – Fortune, officially launched Meadow Lea last year. Meadow Lea is manufactured at Pyramid Wilmar’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Muthurajawela, assuring highest quality, hygiene and safety standards, and is available in three pack sizes at outlets island-wide. Goodman Fielder Australia, a company with over a century of excellence in the food industry, is an associate company of Pyramid Wilmar.

Expressing his views, Pyramid Wilmar Managing Director Sajjad Mawzoon stated: “We are proud to be able to partner with one of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious schools that has a rich tradition of sporting excellence. Royal College has produced numerous great cricketers who have gone on to represent Sri Lanka and bring honour to the nation. It is indeed a privilege that we are able to support these budding youngsters of various age groups during their cricketing journey. Meadow Lea is made with the goodness of sunflower oil, enriched with essential micronutrients which provide a solid foundation for these promising young cricketers to perform at their best.”
