McLarens Lubricants and Mobil partner with champion racer Sangeeth Suriyage

McLarens Lubricants, the authorised distributor of Mobil engine oils in Sri Lanka, has announced its partnership with leading motorsports athlete Sangeeth Suriyage for the 3rd consecutive year. This partnership marks another exciting chapter in Mobil’s ongoing commitment in supporting performance and excellence in Sri Lanka’s motorsports landscape.

Sangeeth Suriyage’s racing career is a testament to consistency, dominance, and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence. A five-time National Motorcycle Racing Champion, he holds the title of National Fastest Rider, having shattered records at premier hill climbs including Mahagastota (2019 and 2023), Eliyakanda (2020 and 2023), and Radella (2019). He also boasts all-time fastest motorcycle lap records at Pannala Circuit, Kanway Auto Drome, Radella Hill Climb, Eliyakanda Hill Climb, and Katukurunda Circuit (SM Class). Representing Sri Lanka on the international stage, Sangeeth has competed in the FIM Asia SM Championship and British SM Championship. Transitioning to car racing in 2022, clinched the Rotherham Katukurunda Championship in both the SLH 1600cc and SLS 3500cc categories (2024). Notably, he remains undefeated at the Katukurunda Racetrack since 2016, holding the unmatched distinction of 14 consecutive national race wins a record that underscores his legacy as one of Sri Lanka’s most accomplished motorsports athletes.

Through this collaboration, Mobil aims to champion homegrown talent and reinforce its reputation for powering high-performance engines—on and off the track. Mobil’s flagship brand Mobil 1, world’s leading synthetic engine oil product, is powering Sangeeth’s performance on track which ensures superior performance in high endurance races.
