Matheesha wins Lion for Cricket

Trinity College awarded ‘Lion’ to fast-bowler and national youth player Matheesha Pathirana for his contribution for the game at school level and national level. Currently, he is in West Indies with the national Under-19 outfit at the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Meanwhile another prolific scorer at school, and a national youth player, Pawan Pathiraja was awarded with colours for cricket. Meanwhile, colours were also awarded to Umair Raizan and Ranuda Somarathne. These lads at Trinity College are coached by one of their Old Boys, Kavinda Jayasuriya.
