Marc Chicano won the Overall award at the Victoria Golf Resort (VGR), Monthly Medal for March 2024 which was worked off at the one of the most breathtaking golf courses in Asia at Rajawella recently.

The pinnacle of glory belonged to Marc Chicano, who emerged as the overall winner of the tournament. His top class skills, coupled with an undivided determination, led him to triumph in a fiercely competitive field. Marc’s well-rounded gameplay and unwavering focus made him a deserving champion.

The nett winners made a triumphant impact in their respective divisions. Manori Jayakody demonstrated her talent and consistency on the course, emerging victorious in the ladies segment. Her exceptional net score reflected her unwavering dedication and highlighted her talent as a formidable competitor.

In the gentlemen’s segment Srimahadevan showcased his masterful game plan and meticulous shot selection to secure the title of nett Winner. His strategic approach and ability to capitalize on every opportunity solidified his position as a player worthy of recognition.

In the ladies segment, a remarkable feat was accomplished by Dr. Pravina Dunuwila, who clinched the longest drive. Her powerful swing and accurate technique propelled her shots to a remarkable distance, securing her a well-deserved victory.

Thushara Rupasinghe claimed the title of longest drive in the gentlemen’s segment, unleashing a phenomenal drive that set a high standard for his competitors. His exceptional power and precision showed his commitment to the game.

The contest for nearest to the PIN proved to be equally exhilarating. K Wigneshwaren expertly navigated his way to victory in the gentlemen’s category, astutely judging the distance and angle of his shot to place it closest to the pin.
