The 20th cricket encounter between MCA Veterans and Lanka Cavaliers for the “Tyrone de Silva” Challenge trophy, revived after one year will take place tomorrow at the MCA Grounds, commencing at 10.00 a.m.
The 25 overs a side match will be played with the white ball, and players attired in coloured clothing.
At the previous encounter played on 13 August at the MCA Grounds, Lanka Cavaliers scored a comfortable 06 wickets win over MCA Veterans.
After 19 encounters, the series tally stands at 09 wins for Lanka Cavaliers and 08 wins for MCA Veterans.
Former MCA President Tyrone de Silva, who donated this magnificent trophy during his tenure as President in 2004 will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
