MCA “F” division 25 over League Tournament pre-quarter finals this weekend

The pre-quarter finals of 06th Fairfirst Insurance Trophy – MCA “F” division 25 over League Tournament 2024 will be worked out this weekend.

Last week HNB “B” openers, Dinesh Panditharatne and Kaveen Bandara hammered centuries while being associated in a 222 runs stand, against Empire Tea in the tournament.

Panditharatne, carried his bat out after scoring 122 not out in 72 balls, inclusive of 06 sixes and 11 fours and Bandara was retired out, after scoring 114 in 60 balls, inclusive of 03 sixes and 16 fours; HNB “B” batting first finished with 296 for 01 in 25 overs, to which EmpireTea replied with 189 for 06 in 25 overs, thus losing by 107 runs. 

Week-end’s other centurion was Dialog Axiata’s one drop batsman, Harshana Bandara, who scored 103 not out in 70 balls, inclusive of 02 sixes and 12 fours Vs. Std. Chartered Bank.
