Cricket enthusiasts attending the 96th Battle of the Maroons between Ananda and Nalanda will have the opportunity to experience the historic encounter in premium style, with the introduction of an exclusive “Legends Enclosure” at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Grounds.
Organised in conjunction with the big match scheduled from 28 February to 1 March, the Legends Enclosure will be a fully air-conditioned hospitality tent designed to deliver an elevated match-viewing experience. The three-day traditional encounter will be followed by the limited-overs day-night match on 7 March at the same venue, where the enclosure experience will continue.
The premium hospitality space will feature large-screen televisions and LED panels to ensure uninterrupted live coverage of on-field action, allowing guests to stay connected to every moment of the game in comfort.
Adding to the carnival atmosphere, live entertainment will be provided by the popular bands Kings and The Warehouse Project, alongside a DJ performance and a vibrant Papare Band, blending cricketing tradition with music and festivity.
Guests will be welcomed with complimentary cocktails on arrival, followed by chasers, finger food and bites served throughout the day. The experience will culminate in an elaborate lunch buffet. In a family-friendly gesture, ladies and children below 12 years of age will be granted free entry.
A single-entry ticket priced at Rs. 25,000 (all-inclusive) will provide access to the Legends Enclosure for all four days of cricket, covering both the three-day match and the limited-overs encounter.
