SLC releases 23-match fixtures

Last year’s finalists B-Love Kandy and Dambulla Aura will play in the curtain-raiser of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) fifth edition at the Pallekele Cricket Stadium on 1 July.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) who conducts the tournament announced the fixtures which will take place from 1-22 July. The first five matches of the 23-match tournament will be played at Pallekele after which the tournament moves to the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium for the next set of nine matches. The remaining nine matches which includes the knockouts and the final will take place at the R Premadasa Stadium.

The five participating teams are champions B-Love Kandy, runner-up Dambulla Aura, Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers and Galle Marvels.
