Lakshan to lead 18-member Emerging team to Caribbean

Colombo Colts CC all-rounder Dhananjaya Lakshan will lead Sri Lanka’s Emerging team on their five-match cricket tour of the West Indies next month.

An 18-member team was selected to represent the Emerging team who will be engaged in two 4-day matches and three 50-over matches in Antigua.

The Sri Lanka Emerging squad:

Dhananjaya Lakshan (Captain), Janishka Perera, Shevon Daniel, Ravindu Rasantha, Ahan Wickramasinghe, Nipun Dhananjaya, Anjala Bandara, Sohan de Livera, Sahan Kosala, Ravindu Fernando, Chamindu Wijesinghe, Dulaj Samuditha, Garuka Sanketh, Sithum Dissanayaka, Dilum Sudeera, Traveen Mathews, Ashian Daniel, Melan Hasanka.

7-10 June: 1st Four-Day game at Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua
14-17 June: 2nd Four-Day game Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua
21 June: 1st 50-over game at Sir Vivian Richard Stadium, North Sound
24 June: 2nd 50-over game at Sir Vivian Richard Stadium, North Sound
26 June: 3rd 50-over game at Sir Vivian Richard Stadium, North Sound
